I've had a ton of requests for the texts of the tomes I have created.  So far I've been filling them out individually.  But lately, I've had so many requests that I decided to just put up a page where the text for these various tomes could be downloaded.  Beware....for they contain knowledge mankind was never meant to know!

LATIN NECRONOMICON

This first link is to download the a German Blackletter text of the abhorred "Necronomicon."

This is the version I used to print out my Uber-Necronomicon seen on the props page.   For best results these pages should be 11x17.  However, they are formatted to be printed out at 8.5 x 11.   My advice would be to print them out on "normal" paper, and then have a copy shop enlarge them to 11x17.

As far as the text goes.  It is largely assembled from a Latin Necronomicon edition formatted by John Fair-Holton, which was then expounded upon by myself and reformatted to fit my contours and fonts updated.  The text itself is a complete fake and is formed from several medieval manuscripts, alchemical, and hermetic tomes.  Names have been changed to protect the innocent...and to reflect the entities of the Cthulhu Mythos.  The "woodcuts" and other art were purloined from various places on the internet.  Most are public domain, some may not be, just be careful.

This text is supposed to be the 17th century printing in Spain of the German Blackletter Latin edition of the Necronomicon, translated from the Greek by Olaus Wormius in the 12th century as described by H.P. Lovecraft (History of the Necronomicon)

Enjoy!

Latin Necronomicon

DE VERMIS MYSTERIIS

Based largely on John Buruss' "Malifinomicon", this is a nice looking text meant to simulate H.P. Lovecraft's "De Vermis Mysteriis".  This particular version is formatted to be printed out on 8.5 x 11" paper, double-sided in landscape format, that way when you fold the paper in half you actually get 4 pages.  Sew or bind with postscrews and then add a cover and voila!  Again, 95% of the woodcuts are public domain, some other may not be.  So just use this stuff for your own use please.

This one is supposed to be an apocryphal 1809 reprinting of Ludwig Prinn's terrible tome.
