COMMUNICATOR AND PHASER (TYPE 1)

 

    Standard issue for all landing parties.  A standard Starfleet Communicator and a Type 1 phaser from Star Trek: The Original Series.

 

The communicator is a toy gimmick thing that chirps when you open it, it also conceals a clock, and a calculator.  It is capable of recording about 5 seconds of sound and has flashing lights.  The Phaser is actually the very first prop I ever bought.  I got it way back in 1987 at a Star Trek Convention in Chicago.  The dial below the red LED is broken.  It is of carved wooden construction and has no working parts.
