PALANTIR

 

The Stones of Seeing; powerful crystalline globes that enabled their users to witness events and converse with one another over great distances. Seven of these were brought to Middle-earth by Elendil from Numenor.

 

 

Hate to brag but I did a great job painting this sucker up.  People that see it in person expect this thing to be solid marble or obsidian resting on a gold flecked stand.  In actuality, it is just a hollow plastic endcap that goes on top of fenceposts....$2.50 at Home Depot.
