Had an absolutely awesome weekend. This one will stand out in my memory for some time to come (well at least until the same time next year, hopefully when that Oscar Party tops this one)! Soon will be putting up a new section of the site devoted to my new hobby that is sucking up so much of my time. The GamesWorkshop Lord of the Rings Tabletop Battle Game! I'll link to it once the preliminary pages are done.

Who says we can't marry two hobbies into one. As you know, I've been sucked into the Lord of the Rings Battle Game by Games Workshop. I've got my battle table ready, some terrain under construction, and most of my Uruk-Hai painted. Tonight, I finished painting my Balrog. It looked so cool that something more was warranted.

So, being that I'm an insane nerd. I took some pix, then donned an elven cloak, busted out my Narsil replica, and my old Renfair staff and snapped some pix. Then threw down some particle smoke and fire effects, a little photoshop manipulation and voila....here is the result.

The Dark Fire will not avail you, Flame of Udun!
