Interesting weekend at MEGACON. It was a lot larger than I thought it would be. Saw a lot of folks but unfortunately didn't get into the gaming aspect much. Finally got to meet a lot of online friends from the boards. Had trouble associating real names instead of handles. Lots of cool stuff though. Listened to Kevin Smith ("Silent Bob -- Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma etc") talk for a bit, but the line was way too long to get to talk to him or get anything signed. Hung out with Jason Carter ("Marcus Cole from Babylon 5"), while he was doing a drama seminar. It was kind of a pretend that you're an actor for 2 hours. It was very very cool, and for me the highlight of the Con. Met some very creative people we did some improv and then afterward Jason did a question and answer like 'Inside the Actor's Studio' so we got to ask him whatever. Very cool. Met Michonne Bourriague ("Aurra Sing - Star Wars") again, and she was very nice as always. And very cool surprise is that I met Jenette Goldstein ("Vasquez - Aliens").

Feeling very ill. Recovering from surgery. Pre-production has officially begun on a new fan film, but I have to keep it hush hush because it is not mine. I'm just helping on it.

Neat stuff happening on the props related area. But I don't want to jinx myself so I won't say, but I could be getting my hands on a very very cool screen-used item.

Also, MEGACON this weekend. Looking forward to meeting some 501st members and some local gamers. Hopefully pick up some cool T-shirts and stuff too.

Well, things are hectic here. Shot and need to edit another wedding. And work is starting in pre-production on a new fan film. That's all I'm at liberty to say now. But this will have some substantial 3D computer FX that I'm not really responsible for.

On another note, found a really cool Lord of the Rings 3D screensaver. I lost the URL where I originally downloaded it. So I am putting it up here (Lord of the Rings Screensaver {810K}). Enjoy.
