Ah! GENCON! The Last one in Milwaukee. Fun fun fun! And financially drainng. I dropped massive chunks of change on some raw materials for future props and some awesome artwork by Denise Gardner and Keith Parkinson. Had a blast as usual, even though I didn't LARP this time. Got into some D&D, Circus Maximus, Games Workshops new LOTR miniatures game (which I foresee will be a future financial drain). Had a great time all around. Ran into Michael Stackpole again (who is always cool) and met Lisa Ryder (Beka Valentine of Andromeda). Got to meet General Hammond and the Doctor from Stargate SG-1 and they were super cool. Also ran into "Thumper" one of the upcoming stars of Legacy of the Sith! Very very cool. Go here to look at pix.

Okay, just a couple of more days until GENCON. I can't even relay what has happened in the last several days. Just an emotional roller-coaster of disaster and success. Terrible, horrible, awesome, and exhilarating! A trial-by-fire for Apocalyptic Productions.

Did we get all the footage we needed for the new fan film? Sadly, no. Did we get enough to make the project salvageable? I'm pretty sure. And that footage is just completely awesome! I wish I could show some but all in good time.
