FUTURE PROJECTS

Difficult  to see the future is.

All Quicktime files use the Sorenson 3 codec.
I get a swelled head and decide to take on Darth Maul's hologram in this FX Test!

I had a little trouble lighting my bluescreen with my Home Depot bought lights...the choreography isn't perfect...but hey...this was just my first time and ya live and learn.

Mike vs Maul (Quicktime 845K)

Bluescreen Maul (181K) {Just the Maul anim}

This is an FX test that just shows an X-Wing pilot having a good time, slaloming between some asteroid.

Used one of the X-wing models from Sci-Fi 3D, made the asteroids myself.  I am not entirely happy with the engine glow, the motion of the X-wing, or the lighting, but I figure that this ain't bad for a 1st test.

X-Wing Slalom Test (Quicktime 1.31MB)

Time Slicing w/ One Camera.  Got a little bored today and decided to try this out.  It's been mulling around in my head for some time.  I also got a new toy and I'm obviously playing with it here.

Also....although I say "bullet-time" in the clip...this effect is really "Time-slicing", I was getting ahead of myself.

*NEW*

This is my pathetic attempt to try out some Photoshop filters to try and replicate the 'wraithworld' effect from "The Fellowship of the Ring".

It turned out okay.  Sauron's eye could be better but my modeling skillz aren't yet up to par. :)

The Cursed Prop (WMV ~1.5Megs)

Be sure to check the new LEGACY OF THE SITH section for a current project.

Here are some of the projects I am thinking of working on in the future.

Moving the www.Story-base.com  archive site here [COMPLETED].

Updating and completing a primer for Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey

"Sith Apocalypse: Behind the Scenes and Outtakes Video" [COMPLETED]

"A.B." -- An original short based on an award-winning vignette I wrote.

Eventually, some kind of X-Wing vs. Tie-Fighter Fan Film.
