History:

    Raised in a rural part of Bakura, Talen and his community had little exposure to the Force or the Jedi.  But the young Talen had an uncanny knack for being able to predict when disasters were going to occur, large or small.  So accurate where his predictions that people began to think that he was behind them in some way.  Rumors surrounding his supernatural abilities spread quickly throughout the community and Talen found himself shunned and ostracized.  Talen became very introverted and hid his talents from everyone.

That changed when a Jedi Master and his Padawan made an emergency landing near the Erebori farm.   They stayed at the farm for a week, while they made repairs to their ship.  They quickly realized that Talen was Force sensitive and began to tell him about the Force, the Jedi, and the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.  Realizing that Talen, already in his early teens, was too old to enter Jedi training, they did nothing more.

Talen scraped what savings he had and purchased off world transport to Coruscant.  When he was turned away from the Jedi Temple he was devastated.  On top of that he was on a strange world and with no money.  He worked small odd jobs and in the meantime studied anything he could get his hands on that talked about the Jedi.  He even was lucky enough to find a Jedi Holocron on the black market.  Using the knowledge in the Holocron, Talen constructed his own lightsaber.  He purchased a broken remote droid, repaired it, and spent all his spare time training against it.  Shortly thereafter Talen heard of a Jedi who would train anyone on the planet Kirosh.  He quickly sold all of his belongings and purchased and off world ticket to the out-of-the-way planet.  He arrived at the Jedi Retreat at Imdelzaa and was delighted to begin his training with Master Rhikkid Stor.  Talen's biggest shortcoming is that he is so eager to prove himself that it sometimes makes him rash.  He often jumps into situations where he finds himself in over his head.
