History:
Jedi Master Rhikkid Stor was Padawan learner to the great Jedi Master Se-Lat Pon. On one of their many journeys, the discovered the planet of Nitobris and its unusual denizens. The inhabitants of Nitobris, were all strong in the Force; every one of them possess ability in one direction or the other. Yet the Nitobrisians were so primitive they had yet to develop electronic communication or atmospheric travel. They knew nothing of the ways of the Jedi or the Sith. Yet all individuals on Nitobris were given trainig in how to use their innate talents. The experience left a profound impact on the young padawan and as he got older, Rhikkid Stor felt more and more sure that the Jedi Council's means of selecting Padawan learners and training them was less than effective. When he became a Jedi Knight, Rhikkid Stor began to declare his objections loudy, and protested openly against the council. Rhikkid believed that anyone with any amount of Force ability should be taught how to use it. And more importantly, should be burdened with the discipline to control the skills they would develop. He is very knowledgeable in the ways of the Force and is considered by many one of the Jedi loremasters. He has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and can often be found perusing over the ancient tomes or viewing obscure holocrons. He was awarded with the Golden Order of Soor Hak, the golden sash of which he wears to this day.
Disturbed that the Council was turning more and more potential trainees away for, what Stor believed were, frivolous reasons, Rhikkid Stor started his own Jedi training facility on the isolated mid-rim planet Kirosh in the Dentro system. He did this in direct opposition to the Jedi Council, telling them that all beings strong in the Force will learn how to use it, either on their own, or from instructors. With the Sith ranks dwindling at incredible pace, and the Sith on the lookout for new pupils, Master Stor would rather potential students learn from the Jedi. His training center is referred to as a retreat, versus a training academy, because it serves as a workshop for beings to self-discover their own innate skills. Master Stor views himself in the role of more guide than instructor.
