History:
Paha Mees has a dubious and shaky history. He excelled in all his trials and was put up for Knighthood by his master at a younger age than most. But Mees was a warrior through and through. And secretly he found himself relishing the thrill of battle. This was in direct opposition to his Jedi training and Paha Mees knew the danger that he was walking the line towards the Dark Side of the Force.
That all changes when Paha Mees, his former Jedi Master, two other Jedi Knights, and four Padawan learners were caught in a Sith ambush. Paha Mees, through is sheer fury in battle emerged as the only survivor. He took as a trophy, one of the Sith lords rare double-bladed lightsabers, to which he added his former saber's blue crystals. This changed the blades hue to purple and secretly represented where Paha Mees stood along the spectrum of the Force. He began to believe more and more that his Jedi training was wrong when it came to the Dark Side of the Force. He had seen too many Jedi die at the hands of the Sith simply because they weren't aggressive enough. He began to perceive weaknesses in the Jedi philosophy.
Through careful searching and many contacts Paha Mees managed to get several Sith holocrons. He believed that to defeat the Sith, the Jedi needed to know everything about them. He began to learn and slowly began to agree with many Sith philosophies. Unfortunately for Mees, about this time the Sith ranks were decimated through their own infighting. But one Sith Lord, no matter the conflict, through combat or subterfuge always emerged victorious, Lord Venge.
Paha Mees sought out Lord Venge, and Venge having recently lost or killed his apprentices in battle was all to quick to begin training another. Venge began to train Paha Mees in the ways of the Sith, unaware that the Jedi meant only to betray and destroy him. Paha Mees fully plans to kill Venge when he has learned all he needs to know. Then he will return to the Jedi Council triumphant and master of both the Light and the Dark sides of the Force. He plans to install himself as head of the Jedi Council and changed the training curriculum to include both Jedi and Sith arts.
