"Located in the mid rim system of Dentro, the planet Kirosh offers much to those who simply want to "get away from it all", but don't want to wander all the way to the Outer Rim. No significant ores or products are developed here and the planet's largest source of galactic income is from tourism. Because of its seeming lack of interest, Kirosh is a pure and unpolluted world. There are three major cities on the planet, Krinda, Rosh-Te-Lan, and Shel-Ha. There most traveler's needs can easily be fulfilled. Rosh-Te-Lan offers the largest access through its 26 dock brand-new spaceport. Two cautions: first, no foreign foodstuffs or animals are allowed on Kirosh. (Recently there has been a massive surge in the Dia Noga population, a creature not native to Kirosh). Second, wear sun protection. Kirosh's pure atmosphere offers little solar protection and the proximity of Kirosh's sun can often leave the unwary visitor sun-bleached. .
Special Sites to see:
The underwater Saurian city at Shel-Ha: (special rebreathers are necessary and are available for purchase or rental) These underwater marvels are a delight to see and these are especially rare. Shel-Ha also provides some of the finest ocean foodstuff this side of Mon Calamari.
Jedi Training Retreat at Imdelzaa: Master Rhikkid Stor's Jedi retreat has only been operating for 2 Kirosh years, but it is quickly growing. The retreat is not only settled amongst the naturalistic settings of beautiful Imdelzaa, but it also provides a rare glimpse into the world of Jedi Padawan training outside the closed doors of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Master Stor encourages onlookers to take part in the exercises and who knows, even you may have what it takes to be a Jedi. (Holo-vid recording is strictly prohibited).
Safari Hunting at Krinda and Rosh-Te-Lan: If you are the adventurous sort, why not rent a blaster and go Dia Noga hunting? Native guides will escort you to the most dense Dia Noga population centers and teach you how to trap and kill the pests. And you'll be helping the Kirosh environment too! (Dia Noga hunting is not covered by many insurance plans)."
* Standard units based on Coruscant central time.
** The Saurian race is very closely related to the Trandoshans in appearance and physiology, save that the Saurians are more primitive and are amphibians.
